| World Music/Recording traditional music Trekking into the remote jungles of Northeastern Fiji, Aaron spent 2 weeks recording traditional Fijian music deep in the jungle in the village of Waibulu on Qamea Island (Fiji's 12th largest yet road-less island). The Fijian's had never seen a real violin before so Aaron introduced it to them. Aaron also collaborated with one of Fiji's most famous musicians, Jale Mareau. Jale (pronounced: Charlie) is the Paul McCartney of Fiji, a celebrity whose music is played all over the South Pacific. Jale's latest CD was recorded by producer Bill Lamb at his studio in Portland, Oregon and the CD is a true cross cultural collaboration between Aaron, Bill, and Jale. Jale is the most recent artist signed to the World Music record label GMC Records.
