The Band
Aaron Meyer
Concert Rock Violinist
Inspired by the fusion of classical and rock, Aaron’s “Concert Rock” genre features arrangements from Vivaldi to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody; Toto to Beethoven and Mozart to Muse.
Instructed by his father beginning at the age of 5 and with the help of a seductive violin cake, Meyer debuted with the Philadelphia Orchestra at 11 years old. He later soloed with the Oregon Symphony, The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in Thailand and has performed at numerous concert series and music festivals.
As Aaron’s mom always said, “Aaron marches to his own beat!!” Aaron was the kid who was constantly thrown out of orchestra rehearsal for misbehaving. In order to make it in the music world, he needed to create his own unique genre, Concert Rock (the combination of Classical and Rock music).
Aaron offers educational workshops, instruments, performance opportunities, free online music education resources and private instruction to students of all ages, through his 501(c)(3) non-profit music education program, Concert Rock Academy. His music education program has reached students as far away as Brazil, South America and Myanmar, Southeast Asia.
Aaron plays a Benjamin Ruth acoustic violin and a John Jordan electric violin.
Aaron is married to the love of his life, Renee, owner of Unforgettable Honeymoons.
