This is our recording, “Father & Son”. Julian Meyer inspired his son Aaron to play the violin at age 5 all because of a fancy violin cake and an opportunity to solo with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Aaron soloed with the Philly Orch on February 4, 1984 at age 11. Thomas M. Ellis V listened to his father, Tim Ellis (Thomas IV) play guitar in his early years, and at age 10 followed in his father’s footsteps and under his tutelage.
